Danson House is a fine Palladian villa that was built by Sir John Boyd for his young bride Catherine Chapone. Danson was built as a suite of rooms for entertaining by a man besotted with his new wife and the layout and interiors reflect themes of love and enjoyment, from the garlands and decoration above the front door to the Pavillon wall paintings in the dining room.
With a history of love and romance what better place to plan your wedding or even to host it! With more than 30 exhibitors and the opportunity to visit this beautiful house and enjoy tea in their elegant but cosy tea rooms, it is the perfect place for a wedding fair
