The Burrows Lea Country House Wedding Show will take place on Sunday 13th June 2021 (11:00am - 3:00pm).
Situated just outside the beautiful village of Shere in the heart of the Surrey Hills, not far from Guildford, Dorking and the M25, Burrows Lea is the perfect venue for a grand garden marquee wedding, or a bijoux function in a delightful dining room for a more intimate private party.
Shere is one of the most beautiful villages in the Surrey Hills. Full of traditional English features, an award winning restaurant, tempting tea-shops and a church originating from 1190. With so much charm, it is no surprise the village has been a location for a number of films and its tranquillity has attracted many visitors.
From the village, travel up a wooded country lane to discover Burrows Lea Country House overlooking stunning fields as far as the eye can see. Set in 30 acres of picturesque gardens and woodland, Burrows Lea is a stately country house, designed by Frederick Pepys in 1873. Offering unparalleled views of Surrey, with beautiful grounds and outstanding scenery, it provides an exceptional backdrop to any occasion.
You will find a glorious manor house steeped in history, together with its very own chapel providing a charming, serene location for both a ceremony and reception, all of which can be dressed to individual specifications – and an in-house registrar who will work with couples to create the perfect ceremony, should they wish.
