April 2013 saw the launch of the Great Lancashire Wedding Show – a large-scale wedding exhibition created to showcase the very finest in Lancashire wedding businesses for the Northern bride. The show has proved to be a huge success with couples throughout the Northwest, with record-breaking visitor figures at the November 2013 show.
So, on the 26th & 27th April 2014, the Great Lancashire Wedding Show is expanding.... to not just one day, but two whole days of wedding gorgeousness crammed into our Big Wedding Weekender!
We’re the North West’s biggest free entry wedding exhibition- all you need to do is pre-register for tickets and your entire wedding party can come along – for free!

We’ve got 500 luxury goody bags up for grabs for the first 250 brides each day, and every bride receives a free wedding magazine.
We have a fabulous selection of North West hotels exhibiting with us, many of them award-winning, so finding that perfect venue has never been so easy. So if you’re at the very start of your planning process, we can help you with that too!
Come and view hundreds of bridal gowns from over 30 leading bridal designers such as Enzoani, Intuzuri, Justin Alexander, Sottero & Midgley, Sincerity, Ronald Joyce, Amanda Wyatt, Sophia Tolli, Mark Lesley, Stella York and more – PLUS rock your day your own way with bespoke bridalwear designers Legend Bridal Designs.
There are professionally choreographed catwalks shows on both days spotlighting an enviable selection of bridal gown retailers Bridalwear by Emma Louise of Bolton, Bridal Boutique by Dream Capture of Blackpool and bespoke bridalwear designers Legend Bridal Designs. So whether you want to choose from off-the-peg, or exclusive designers, or commission your own bespoke design, we’ve got it all covered at the Big Wedding Weekender.
We also have suppliers of groomswear and mother of the bride outfits to help the rest of your wedding party gather ideas for the big day with Slaters menswear also on the catwalk with Barbaras of Standish showcasing outfits for the Mothers of the Bride and Groom.
Larger wedding exhibitions are the perfect place to find unique & even unusual wedding services such as catering providers, gift list ideas, and great inspiration for hen & stag parties! And with several cake designers exhibiting, chocolate fountain, candy carts, hog roast & barbecues there’s sure to be some delicious samples to try!
Make-up artist Kerry Baker & hair stylist Duncan Fisher will be holding live beauty demonstrations throughout the day and offering 1 to 1 consultations. They’re also holding a beauty Q&A session so they’ll be able to answer all your make-up & hair questions.
We work with many of these regional suppliers regularly, with many of the exhibitors loving the last show so much that they booked their stand at this one straight away to meet more excited brides and grooms.
We’re convenient to travel to and it’s so easy to find us, just off Jct 6 of the M61; we’re next door to the Reebok stadium and we have 100’s of free car parking spaces.
The Great Lancashire Wedding Show present their first Big Wedding Weekender on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th April at USN Bolton Arena, Horwich BL6 6LB. Both days we open from 11am – 4pm – and don’t forget, entry is free when you pre-register for entry tickets!
