About the Event
Come and discover one of Cornwall’s most exciting wedding venues at The Barn at Pengelly Open Day this November. Nestled within a 5th generation working farm just five miles outside of Truro, this award-winning venue is the perfect setting to start planning your dream day.
Meet over 30 of the best local Cornish suppliers all in one place, from photographers and florists to caterers, cake makers and everything in between. This is your chance to chat face to face with the people who will make your wedding truly special, all set against the backdrop of rolling hills, tranquil lakes and 200 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside.
The whole grounds will be open to explore, so you can wander through the Kitchen Garden, visit Cornwall’s only Glam Room, peek inside the converted barn cottages and shepherd’s huts, and take in the honeymoon cabin overlooking the lakes. You will leave with a real feel for what your wedding day could look like.
To make the day even more enjoyable, complimentary wine tasting and food samples will be on offer throughout the event, giving you a taste of the quality you can expect on your big day.

With exclusive hire for up to 150 guests, rustic banquet tables, a fully stocked bar (yes, including Pimms on tap), and three in-house menu options, every detail has been considered so you can simply enjoy your day. A dedicated Wedding Coordinator is with you from the very first meeting right through to the moment you wave your guests goodbye - welcoming suppliers, managing room turnarounds, and taking care of every finishing touch, so you don’t have to think about a thing.
