Built in the 18th Century, The Coach House with traditional oak beams, mellow brickwork and beautifully tended gardens filled with beguiling blooms, provides a very charming setting to celebrate weddings. Our unique location also offers the opportunity to marry in our gardens or woodlands so you really can create your day in whatever style or theme you may choose.

The interior of The Coach House is filled with ambience and character; it has three beautiful arch doors that lead onto the terrace which overlooks the stunning garden. Couples can marry in a romantic gazebo in this private garden, surrounded with the carefully cultivated plants that flower throughout the summer season.
Set within the 200 acres of Gardens and Arboretum at Marks Hall, The Coach House is an unmissable attraction in the Essex countryside, with an enviable collection of mature trees, woodland and leafy paths. Guests can share the beauty and tranquillity of the grounds on their special day.
The Coach House can seat 120 for a civil ceremony, 120 for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 for the evening reception. A perfect place to create special memories.
