About Prested Hall Colchester Wedding Fair
Come and meet the region’s leading suppliers and wedding specialists. Chat with jewellers, and photographers, also cake makers, balloon suppliers and stationers. Additionally, DJs, florists and venue decorators will be here on the day. Each of our fantastic suppliers has years of experience and a wealth of knowledge to share with you. We know you love gathering information, and at Prested Hall we make it easy!
We love to look after you at Prested. Indeed most people visiting are surprised to find such a warm welcome. Furthermore, there is no hard sell, just a chance to see an array of suppliers, look around the venue and chat with our friendly events team.
At our wedding fair, you’ll have the opportunity to:
*Walk round and get the feel of our wonderful marquee
*Browse the Hall’s 14 bedrooms, including the wonderful Dingle, our very own converted chapel
*Gain lots of ideas about themes and trends and top tips on how to make your wedding day that extra bit special
*Information and advice from experienced professionals
*Meet with one of our talented Events Managers
*Receive comprehensive quote for your very own big day with us
£1pp admission fee, donated to Essex Air Ambulance
Pre-register your attendance for the chance to win an overnight stay for two, including full English breakfast and use of our Health Club facilities.

Prested has 14 elegant bedrooms with fine period interiors, 6 serviced apartments and is naturally the first choice for many couples from Essex, Suffolk, and beyond.
All of our reception rooms and our delightful waterside gazebo are licensed for civil ceremonies. So whether you are looking for an alfresco summer ceremony on the lawn or an intimate winter ceremony in our warming oak-paneled room, Prested has something for all. During the summer months, couples also have the option to dine in our traditional marquee with picture-perfect views out across the manicured lawns, moat, and the stunning parkland beyond, creating the perfect backdrop to any wedding breakfast.
