Situated right next door to Hackney Downs train station in Hackney, Studio Jones is an 8000 sq ft space spread over 2 studios. The space, formerly known as Dalston Heights, has had a recent make over, with the spaces being emptied to create a blank canvas for you to fill as you like. Be it photoshoots, events or a Wedding, the individual spaces can lend their hand in creating exciting visuals and stunning backdrops. New electrics, heating and a new kitchen have been added to Studio Jones, with catering options from Jones & Sons or bespoke menus created and cooked onsite by Head Chef at the studio Kieran Hope
Sandhole Oak Barn is a beautifully designed wedding barn, set in rolling Cheshire countryside. With landscaped gardens and a spacious veranda overlooking a large tranquil lake, it is the perfect setting for your wedding. Civil ceremonies can take place in the barn or by the lake under the clock tower (April to October), and the barn can seat up to 140 guests for your wedding reception. The Barn has been traditionally built with mellow oak beams, high vaulted ceilings, striking wrought iron chandeliers, and a neutral décor that complements any colour scheme. Stylish natural drapes are used to separate the ceremony and dining areas. Under floor heating and decorative cast iron radiators ensure a warm welcome on those cooler days, whilst French doors open onto the spacious veranda drawing in the tranquillity of the lake. The wedding party have exclusive use of the venue, along with the award-winning luxury accommodation available on site for you and 37 guests through Sandhole Farm Bed and Breakfast. Built in the early sixteenth century as Place Manor House, the building was later used by King Charles I for his ill fated treaty with Cromwell and Parliament in 1645. The manor house went on to become a coaching inn in the eighteenth century and the panelling you see upstairs in our Crown and Treaty rooms is said to be original, although it was sold to an American businessman who used it to furnish his office in the Empire State building in the 20's and 30's before being returned as a coronation gift to Elizabeth II who returned it to the inn in 1953.
