A million thanks for hosting our anniversary party. We couldn't have asked for more. It truly went off with a bang thanks to you and the teams involved. You were so attentive in the run up to the party, we really valued being able to email you at any time, and the face-to-face meeting in which you thought of lots of things we hadn't. We were always assured that you would take care of everything for us. We appreciate how you facilitated making it personal to us, from dealing with the band, giving us options for what drinks were served, the layout and styling of the room, use of the projector, sound system and lighting, ordering our choice of table linen, and so much more. It felt like nothing was too much trouble.

On the day of the party there was always someone around to welcome us and show us what was what. Your team pitched in with helping us set up the room, untangling fairy lights and putting a million batteries into the LED candles we had brought, which was service over and above our expectations. The catering team in The River Kitchen absolutely nailed it with the buffet, we had so many compliments on the food and the chef was so nice in making sure every guest's requirements were catered for, even the kids! The bar team were cheerful, friendly and professional and made the guests feel welcome and it felt throughout like there were plenty of staff around to deal with everything. Special thanks to you for staying for the whole thing and overseeing it all.

When we came to clear out the next day we were so surprised that your team had done all the hard work for us, everything was neatly packed and ready to go and Geoff was really kind in helping us load up. We honestly couldn't be happier with the whole experience. It was completely stress-free and so well organised. Everyone was kind and thoughtful and it felt like they made it their personal mission to be helpful. We would 100% recommend the venue to anyone wanting to host a party or event. Not only is it an attractive and flexible space but the service is top notch! Thanks again.

Now that we’ve had a moment to take it all in, we honestly can’t stop smiling when we think back to the day. Everything was beautifully set up and ran so smoothly, and that’s entirely down to you and your fantastic team.
So many of our guests are still telling us how amazing the venue was and how seamless the whole day felt. It really meant the world to us to be able to relax and enjoy every moment, knowing everything was in such capable hands.
Thank you for your warmth, your patience, and for going above and beyond to make our day feel so special. We feel incredibly lucky to have celebrated at such a wonderful venue with such an amazing team behind it.

Thank you SO MUCH for looking after us and making sure our day was so amazing. It was absolutely perfect and we had such a special day!

Lots of our guests have commented on how well looked after we were by the team so huge thanks to everyone there on the day, particularly Jeff and Nigel who made sure we got the best photos, and the team that stayed into the evening! And thank you to everyone who packed our decorations away - I know it was a big job so we really do appreciate it!

Another huge thanks goes to Justine and her team - the food was just perfect! Lots of family have told us it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We’re biased but I completely agree - it was delicious!

I also wanted to say a huge thank you to you Annie for solving cake gate! We cannot thank you enough for going above and beyond for us - we really do appreciate your kindness.

We felt so looked after from start to finish and I’m so pleased we came to Derby Museums to host our wedding.
