Standing on the edge of the historic Burghley Estate and within the beautiful town of Stamford, The William Cecil can be used in a number of different ways, whether it’s outdoors in our garden pavilion, indoors in our Burghley or Exeter suites, the modern marquee tucked away in our garden, or exclusive use to include the newly decorated Milly's Bistro. Each location is complete with its own character for that perfect place to say “I do”, and our experienced team can assist with your planning to ensure that your day happens exactly as you dreamed.

We offer room hire and catering services for weddings, conferences and seminars, private functions-anniversaries, celebrations, proms, discos, funeral gatherings, lectures, wedding fayre... both our ground floor, and first floor suites can be used in a variety of different ways to suit most occasions, from small to large events of up to 300 people.

The high beamed, dome ceiling and stained-glass feature window create a striking image throughout any ceremony. The Victoria Suite is perfectly situated for capturing those special photos with a private garden after the ceremony and within a 2-minute walk to the Worksop Memorial gardens with it’s stunning picturesque flower displays and bridges over the River Ryton.

Wood Farm at Everdon is an idyllic rural paradise, exclusively yours for your wedding day. We are a working farm and fully licensed for ceremonies and wedding receptions.

The Aviator is an unusual and picturesque venue, which boasts original 1930's Art Deco features and is positioned at the edge of the original grass Airfield of Sywell Aerodrome, Northamptonshire. With views from our Cirrus Suite across the Airfield and a 60 Bedroom Hotel onsite, The Aviator offers the perfect setting for your Wedding Reception. The Cirrus Suite can seat up to 100 guests for a formal Wedding Breakfast Meal, or up to 150 guests for a more informal Buffet style Reception. Hangar One is a self-contained venue capable of hosting all manner of events from Dinner Dances and Product Launches to Conferences and Wedding Receptions. Hangar One boasts its own private bar, in-house stage and dance floor, sophisticated light system and ladies & gentleman’s toilets and cloakroom. Our in-house catering team handle all catering in Hangar One offering a range of eating options including Finger Buffets, Dressed Buffets & 3 Course Meals for up to 500 guests.
