The wedding shows are packed with wonderful guests and it’s always a pleasure to meet lots of Brides and Grooms in person to build a friendly relationship.

We also feature in the Absolute Bridal Magazine which is really beneficial as lots of lovely Brides & Grooms can find you from wedding events you may not be present at.

I truly cannot recommend Main Event Weddings enough! Partially Vanessa who from day one has always made me feel so welcome and apart of the wedding supplier family and has gone above and beyond for me making sure our needs at each show are catered for as our business has grown and adapted through the years. I started in the wedding industry in 2017 and Main event are the only company I have exhibited with and I have never felt a need to go elsewhere. Their prices are very reasonable for the footfall that Vanessa and her team work hard to get through the doors. Main Wedding Events has helped our business go from strength to strength. We started our bespoke wedding stationery business in 2020 just doing a few things on the side for friends and family. We were quite nervous about our first wedding show and didn’t know what to expect, but it certainly didn’t disappoint. As newbie cake designers and newbies to the wedding industry, we didn’t know what to expect from our first wedding show. We decided to go big with the Chelmsford City Racecourse show and with a ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ attitude but we’ve been so impressed by the response. It was a two-day event, and we did not stop talking to potential new clients. It’s been wonderful to see the buzz around our new business and to see it start to grow. We’ve had several confirmed bookings already and continue to get enquiries from the weekend. Thank you to Vanessa and the team for organising such a fabulous event. We look forward to the next one!

A couple of years ago I decided to give Main Event a try. I am so glad I did. I have done many different shows with them and they are always well organised and more importantly, really well marketed to ensure that they have a good amount of couples in attendance. I now do around 10 a year with Main Event and have never done one that I haven't got bookings from. My most recent one on Sunday has provided me with 5 bookings so far and lots more interest still to follow up. I still have a further 5 shoes to do in the Autumn to help ensure my diary is full!

Deciding to attend a wedding show is a big gamble, deciding to take part in a weekend long wedding show even more so. The lovely team at Main Weddings and Events answered all of my questions, stopped me worrying and supported me all through the process.

Arriving on the Friday to set up was quite overwhelming, this place is huge. Will it be worth the hours of preparation? Will anyone even want my details? Well the team were right, I shouldn’t have worried, I had a constant flow of couples requiring childcare for their big day. I received 3 bookings on the day itself and spent both evenings sending off price lists and quotes.

The event was run perfectly, with a wide range of suppliers including a stunning wedding dress show.

If you’re in two minds about attending, don’t be, it’s definitely worth it. I will be returning for sure.

Largest Wedding Show In Essex at Chelmsford City Racecourse - 21st April 2024

I always love attending the Main Event show at Apton Hall. The team always look after me really well and the organisation is excellent. We always get a really decent footfall and I have lots of positive conversations with perspective clients. The day always runs smoothly and the communication in the run up to the day is excellent.
As a preferred supplier at Apton Hall I will always be attending these shows and I have faith that Main Event will ensure a good turn out.
