The Wellbeing Farm is an authentic countryside farm venue in the West Pennines of Lancashire, near Bolton. We’re the North West Countryside Wedding Venue of the Year (2018) for our unique weddings that involve bow-tie wearing llamas, alpacas and donkeys! Incredible Venue Co-ordination We supply a thorough and structured programme of planning meetings with our friendly venue co-ordination team, who’ll be with you all the way on your journey, from your first viewing to the wedding day itself. Plus, if you ever need to discuss any aspect of your wedding, or are having any last minute worries, we’re always ready and waiting with hot tea and cakes! Also, our tardis-esque Prop Store is available for all weddings, and contains hundreds of vintage venue decorations and props. Authentic Farm Experience You’ll have exclusive use of our countryside farm on your wedding day, meaning your special day is fully yours. We’re located in the picturesque West Pennine Moors in Lancashire, near Bolton. On your wedding day you’ll be surrounded by a stunning background, and on a clear day you can see all the way over to North Wales. We have loads of vintage farm machinery and tools dotted around the farm, and what sort of farm would we be if we didn’t have animals? We share the farm with our friendly llamas, alpacas, and donkeys, who don their finest bow-ties for your wedding! There are two places to get married at the farm, our gorgeous wedding barn, and our outdoor wedding pavilion, situated on a pristine green lawn. Both areas are fully licensed for marriages, and can hold 170 seated guests or 250 standing guests. Plus, coming this year, we have a smaller space coming for intimate weddings. Quality Food & Drink We have our own family butchers, and all food is sourced locally, even going as far to grow edible flowers on the farm! We have a range of food options, from party-style food to more formal affairs. There’s three bars at the farm, all stocked with a massive range of draughts, soft drinks, and quality spirits, we even have prosecco on tap! Sustainable Venue All power on the farm is generated from our wind turbine, we’ve banned single use plastics, and our food waste goes into compost. We’re recycling pros, and can deliver an incredible zero-waste wedding. Fabulous Accommodation We have accommodation for up to 6 at Baron’s Farm, our wedding house. It has a large lounge for the bride to get ready in, tennis courts, a lake and even its own woodland! Plus, also coming this year, we have a stunning new on-site Wedding House, which will have accommodation for 4 to 6 people. And Much More! We have a tipi with a smokeless fire, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and a range of garden games including a 9-hole crazy golf course, tug of war, and pedalled go karts. And, coming later this year, a llama-themed photo booth!
