The Holt Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding.

Leading up to the wedding we had been regularly co-ordinating with Emma (the wedding organiser at the Holt) and she did an amazing job helping to take the stress off by dealing with so much of the organising for the actual day. It felt like we only had to give a rough timeline for when things would happen on the day, pick the food we wanted, and the rest was taken care of by the extremely capable staff.

The reception area looked beautiful on the day and all of the guests had only positive things to say about the venue and the beauty of the hotel itself. The food for the wedding meal was delicious. The smooth transitions from the meal, to the cake with tea and coffee and then to the evening party could not have been handled better. The fact that our guests were able to stay in the hotel after the evening party and then have breakfast with us in the morning was a lovely addition to the event, and made it extra special.

All of the staff were extremely professional and friendly, with all our friends and family giving glowing comments about them. Special thanks to Emma and Rita for organising everything on the day so that it all ran smoothly, Sam and Will for being extremely friendly bar staff and helping some of the guests at the evening party, Aaron on security for helping to organise room changes on the day of the wedding when one guest had forgotten to book and another was no longer able to stay! There were other members of staff that had been mentioned to me who helped out the bride's Aunt with decor, but unfortunately I did not catch their names.

We cannot begin to thank the Holt hotel enough for how amazing they were in helping us celebrate our wedding day. We will be forever grateful to them. Thanks so much for hosting our wedding and giving the guests and ourselves such a fantastic evening.

In October, we had our wedding reception (day and evening) at the Holt. We had made our choice quickly, as we had been to a wedding here previously. But I can honestly say that from that contact to when we left after the wedding, we never had a doubt over our choice. A lot of credit must go to Emma, who was always available, helpful and resourceful. From first view, the useful wedding fair, the magnificent taster evening, a family Sunday carvery and the event itself, we felt surrounded by professionals knowing their job and wanting to please the customers.

Several of our wedding party had booked rooms and all gave similar feedback.

The food was well presented and delicious. It appeared to us, everyone on the day, especially Emma, wanted to do their best for us. We really appreciated it.

Over too soon, we retired to the honeymoon suite.

Another absolute treat - bedroom large and the bathroom seemed larger !

In the morning, the the breakfast was lovely and a couple of tables had been laid in the reception room to allow our guests to sit together away from the other guests. Another appreciated touch from the excellent Holt team.

Would we recommend a wedding at the Holt - in a heartbeat.

My friend's wedding took place at The Holt Hotel in Steeple Aston - the wedding ceremony, photos, three course wedding meal, speeches, the after-party, evening buffet - the entire event happened there, from midday until 1am.
The hotel was perfect.
The staff were friendly, helpful and fantastic.
The food was absolutely delicious.
All in all, SUPERB.
It was an excellent day!!!!

After recommendations from friends and the people at the wedding emporium, myself and now husband went to view The Holt Hotel and instantly decided this would be the place to hold our wedding and wedding reception.
The building and grounds are lovely and the price fitted perfectly into our budget.
We had a few more visits whilst planning and with this, I feel I made a friend in Emma (the wedding coordinator.)
Emma is so easy to chat to and was accomadating with my laid back attitude but also at times when I became more serious. Nothing seemed to panic her, which helped me stay calm when situations arised, and this all made the day run smoothly.
We made as much use out of the equipment they had available, which helped us to keep within our budget.
Everything was explained to us and any queries answered.
On the day Emma and her team kept all the guests and wedding party in the loop, helped set up some finishing touches and ensured the day went exceedingly well.
All the staff were extremely friendly, the food and presentation of the food was great, and the packing down the next day went well, due to the assistance of the holt team.
The honeymoon suite was comfy, cosy and elegant (if that is the style you like). I feel sad that we don't need to see you again, but will take opportunities to visit again, should that be for afternoon tea.
