Situated in historic Farnham, The Princess Royal is suited to wedding celebrations of all sizes & styles. If you’re looking for the perfect venue, we are boasting a beautiful function spaces & 27 bedroom hotel.

The Waverley Room sits proudly as the focal point for a wedding. Licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 80 guests, and catering capacities of 80 seated for a wedding breakfast & an evening celebration for up to 100 guests. The Waverley Room is the perfect transitional space for a truly special event.
The classic décor with a recent sparkle, basket lights & vaulted ceilings make the Waverley Room an elegant choice for a wedding celebration.

The Princess Royal was a wonderful venue for our wedding. Leah was very responsive and we felt really well looked after the entire day. The venue is amazing value for money and an all round crowdpleaser for guests. The bridal suite is lovely and it’s so nice to have everything all in one place (ceremony/reception/hotel). We had a beautiful day and all of our guests seemed to be having a great time. Wouldn’t change a thing. Also food was super yummy. I was a pregnant bride and we were definitely thinking of coming back to have our baby shower/party (post birth) at The Princess Royal.

We held our wedding ceremony and evening reception at The Princess Royal in Farnham and we honestly couldn’t be happier with how the day went.
From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organised – we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, making us and our guests feel relaxed and well looked after throughout the day.
The venue itself is beautiful inside and out, with a lovely atmosphere that felt both elegant and comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing, with plenty of it – our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! The evening buffet was a big hit and catered well for all tastes.
The hotel accommodation was also excellent – very clean, comfortable and with plenty of rooms available for our guests to stay over. Having lots of parking was also a big bonus for everyone attending.
We would absolutely recommend The Princess Royal to other couples looking for a relaxed, well-run and beautiful wedding venue. Thank you to all the team for helping make our day so special!

What can I say!! This was the first venue we looked at and the last as we didn't need to go anywhere else we knew instantly this was the place we were getting married! Everything was dealt with so smoothly and professionally from the moment we had the viewing with leah to the moment we said goodbye the morning after. A stressful time was made so much easier with them! They knew exactly what we wanted and did everything to make it happen! Leah was always an email away with an instant response and no question or query was a problem! All the staff rallied around on the day making sure it all went perfectly and it did!! We couldn't have asked for any more!! The venue is a lovely pretty place with the hotel as a bonus with modern rooms most of our guests stayed and it was so nice seeing them all the next morning for breakfast!! Massive thanks to leah, paige and Angel for making it an unforgettable perfect day we really do appreciate it! Our guests had the best time and had lots of compliments!! Highly recommend this venue for your special day you will not regret it!!
