Our stunning 18th Century, country house hotel makes the perfect backdrop for your wedding and is set in the most idyllic of locations. With sweeping staircases, elegant rooms and surrounded by beautiful Essex parkland, our venue is nothing far from spectacular. Licensed for civil ceremonies, we also have an outdoor Gazebo, overlooking our breath-taking grounds, so you can wed surrounded by nature and tranquillity. Here at Wivenhoe we have put a twist on tradition and fused the main house with a Garden Wing, which sits alongside the meticulously renovated historic house and offers a more modern experience. Our team of dedicated wedding coordinators and aspiring managers, will go above and beyond, and will take care of every detail to ensure you have the most perfect day. We also believe that your special day should not be shared, so we hold one wedding per day, promising you the undivided attention of our professional wedding team.
