Blackstock Country Estate is a very unique premier wedding venue set in the heart of the Sussex countryside. With two beautiful Barns, 70+ acres of wedding photo opportunities, amazing catering and accommodating staff whos only aim is to make a big day very special!

Our wedding venue and function room, Avalon, has played host to weddings since 2003. Avalon has a high pitched ceiling supported by an exposed French oak frame and the polished oak floor at the center of the room is bordered by Welsh slate. The beautiful arched windows overlook the surrounding landscaped gardens. It’s no surprise that couples come from far and wide to view our spectacular venue and fall in love with this special place. The King Arthur’s wedding team offers a wealth of experience and personal service to all couples. We have a number of wedding coordinators to assist with the wedding preparations and to of course be on hand during the big day. We appreciate that each and every wedding is unique and we do not host more than one wedding a day. Avalon is an approved venue for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships. The wedding ceremony take place at the far end of room allowing the guests to look out onto the patio and gardens. We have 19 en-suite bedroom available for the night of your wedding with complimentary bridal suite. Avalon can seat a maximum of 140 guests for the daytime reception and 200 for the evening reception. Please contact one of our wedding coordinators for further details or to book a private viewing.

Hockwold Hall is a former Royal residence and the property dates back to the 1500's. Set in a stunning 40 Acres of garden and parkland there are plenty of spots for incredible photographs at all times of the year. There are 10 Bedrooms included within the venue hire fee as well as BBQ, Hot tub, Sauna, Gym, Tennis court, Volleyball court, Croquet lawn and much more. We can cater for events from 40 to 300 and have multiples spaces to suit your group size. Please get in touch for a tour.
