We are happy with our photographer and his amazing work. He was very professional, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the day. One of the things we loved most was how naturally he captured moments, many of the best photos were taken without us even noticing, which made them feel very real and emotional. He didn’t just take posed photos, but truly captured the special moments and feelings of our wedding day. We are so grateful for these beautiful memories and highly recommend him.

Choosing a photographer for your big day is so tricky and feels like such a leap of faith for something so important, but we were SO delighted that we chose Dan! We had a pre-wedding/engagement shoot in advance which I was quite nervous about but Dan put us both at ease and was amazing at suggesting lots of ideas and natural movements to get some great photos. We had our dog and horse join for part of the shoot and were amazed to get such incredibly lovely photos considering the animal chaos and very windy weather conditions which we were navigating on the day! It really helped us to be more natural on the day of the wedding too. We also took the opportunity to show Dan our church and rustic DIY wedding venue and get some ideas for the photos on the big day.
On the day of the wedding Dan was such a calming presence and had that wonderful ability to go unseen amongst the guests and get some great candid shots as well as all of the (long list!) of family/friends photos we had requested. He even made sure we had every shot that we wanted before he left at the end of the night too which gave us the opportunity to quickly add on a last minute balcony photo!

Dan's service was great. Before the wedding (in fact before we had committed to use him) we had a meeting with Dan to discuss what we wanted. He was very responsive to what we wanted, and totally got the approach we wanted to take. He was very easy to speak to obviously knew his stuff. He checked out the venues so that he knew what angles he might photograph the wedding from. We set out quite a demanding list of photo opportunities we wanted him to capture, and he didn't miss a beat, from arrival of the Bride up to the beginning of the meal (we chose not to have a photographer after this). He didn't get in the way at the ceremony or other moments, so we could really enjoy the moment without being self-conscious about the camera. There were several photos that we weren't even aware he was taking! Altogether, well worth hiring.

We were lucky to find Dan, as we had a choice of photographers to choose from in Norfolk including our own photographers from London. We made a very wise choice. Dan has such a pleasant personality and is professional with it. We booked him for half a day, but wished we booked him for the whole day. Our pictures arrived about 2 weeks after and he captured so many amazing shots, all the fun, happiness and beauty of the wedding. He knows the shots, knows the poses and knows the area very well. Like others have said you hardly knew he was there. He wasn't shy in rounding people up as he really valued our time and money. The colours and the quality of the shots really stand out. Somehow he got nearly all the families in one big shot, I've seen other photographers struggle with this. I would recommend him for another award.

After admiring Dan’s photographs at a wedding fair (and his approach – he lets his work speak for itself – no hard sales tactics needed when you see the quality of his shots!), we were thrilled to book Dan for our September 2024 wedding.
Not only is Dan a fantastic photographer, he is a really nice chap! 😊 Guests commented on Dan’s friendly and polite manner, organisation (submitting a list in advance for family/friends photos made it easier to co-ordinate), and commitment to capturing the perfect shots of our special day – Dan was rushing around all day, but equally he is so good at what he does, sometimes we didn’t always know he was there! (and this resulted in some lovely candid shots). Dan made everyone feel comfortable. We were a bit nervous about the posed photos but Dan put us at ease and made everything look (and feel) really natural.
Personally our favourite aspect of Dan’s work are the stunning landscape shots. This is what really attracted us to Dan’s style and these are some of our favourite photos. We are spoilt for choice on what ones to pick for our album!
Throughout the planning process, Dan was professional, responsive and helpful. Dan took the time to meet with us in person to discuss all details – this made us feel even more comfortable on the day as we had already built up a good rapport 😊
The final photos are simply beautiful and we have had so many compliments. Dan presents the photos on a USB stick in a personalised tin, which is a lovely touch. There are also numerous album choices, all very high quality as you would expect 😊
In summary, we would thoroughly recommend Dan and 5 stars is not enough – book Dan for your wedding asap before someone else does! 😊

Dan is fantastic! From the moment we met him at a wedding show we knew he was the photographer for us. Dan was so good at coming back to us with any queries we had and is meticulous in how he works. The over all end product is stunning, not just the photos but the presentation of the USB and the quality of his albums and prints.

Dan photographed mine and my husbands wedding at Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf and Country Club on Sunday 14th of May 2023. We can’t thank him enough for the beautiful results. Dan photographed the small bridal party at my parents house where I was getting ready, and stayed till well after the first dance at the evening reception. I had a bit of a stressful/ panicked morning due to my wedding car turning up an hour late. But Dan was so on the ball when we were all panicking, and straight away he suggested driving over to the venue ahead of us, while we waited for the car... so he could take some photos of the groom and his family and friends who were already at the venue. Due to having my wedding later in the day, and losing more time due to the car turning up late, I was worried we would not of got many quality shots. But both my husband and I were blown away when we got the photos back from Dan. He had captured everything and everyone... from me getting ready, to some beautiful candid shots of my parents and family and the small children (my page boy and flower girl) in my parents garden before we left. Then so many lovely pictures of my husband and his side of the family and his friends before I even arrived. And from then on, so many wonderful candid shots of the whole day, from me walking down the aisle, myself and my husband greeting the guests after the ceremony, the speeches, and people just chilling out and enjoying themselves, right through to the first dance and the disco in the evening. Dan also captured some beautiful couple shots of just me and my husband out on the golf course that my husband and I will treasure forever. Dan is a complete professional and has an amazing eye for a good shot... but he is also such a nice down to earth man! We would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer xx

We hired Dan to do our wedding photos after a friends recommendation and also having him on our shortlist so we thought we would book an initial meeting. Communication was really good with quick responses and before we knew it we were in Dan’s office looking through his portfolio and albums. We were really impressed with the quality of work and Dan was so friendly and professional we decided to book him. At the meeting I remember Dan asking if we had any questions and we didn’t have any as he had covered every aspect without us needing to ask. We met Dan again in the lead up to the wedding to discuss any photos we wanted and to give a list of family names which meant on the day group photos could be done quickly and efficiently. The great thing was Dan was always available at times to suit us, even after work. We felt at ease whenever we discussed the plans.
On the day of the wedding, Dan arrived in great time. He blended into the background perfectly and our guests even commented on how they didn’t even see him despite them being in lots of photos. Me and my husband aren’t the posing type but Dan made us feel comfortable on the day and got some lovely photos of us that look very natural. It was great to see some of the shots he had taken of our friends/family as we wouldn’t have seen certain expressions or reactions otherwise. We took some time out to get some photos alone and they were done so efficiently that our guests barely noticed we had gone. It was a busy time of year (with Christmas etc) so our photos took some time to come back but they were worth the wait and we absolutely loved them. Presentation of our USB was stunning also!
