About Heart E Designs
Heart E Designs is a wedding stationery and signage company based on the coast of Kent. Established in 2021, it is run by Emily (Ems), a storyteller, passionate graphic designer and proud female business owner, as well as a mum to teens and a doting dog mum.

Emily’s ethos is simple: she “tells life and love stories through stationery.” She believes stationery is “the glue that holds everything together”, setting the tone for a wedding and creating a consistent thread throughout the celebration. From the first Save the Date or invitation to the final on-the-day details, every piece is designed to help couples tell their story in a way that feels personal, stylish and memorable.

Heart E Designs creates beautifully considered stationery for couples across Kent and the UK who value thoughtful detail, personality and meaningful design. Emily is an artist as well as a graphic designer, so some pieces are drawn entirely from scratch, occasionally using her late grandmother’s very own art pencil.

The unapologetically unique, quintessentially British and personalised paper-based products created by Heart E Designs are suitable for weddings, hen parties, engagements, birthdays, baby showers, christenings, funerals, parties, events and simply celebrating for no reason at all. The ranges include everything from Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations to personalised vow booklets, table plans, wedding menus, place cards and guest books, all designed to complement each couple’s theme perfectly.

Over the years, Heart E Designs has grown steadily through strong relationships within the local wedding community and close collaboration with couples who care deeply about the emotional and visual detail behind their day. Emily is a preferred supplier at The Buttery & Glasshouse, The Orchard, Mount Ephraim, Solton Manor, Leas Cliff Hall, Quex Park, Ferry House Estate, Hayne House and Lincoln Gardens, reflecting the trust earned within the industry and the confidence venue teams and suppliers place in her work.

Heart E Designs products have travelled beyond Kent, featuring at weddings in Italy, Cyprus, Devon and Dundee. They have also received media coverage in Your Kent Wedding, A Kentish Ceremony and Wed In Kent magazines, as well as international titles including Looker, Fienfh, Lovely, Penida, Moevir, Ellas and Gmaro. The products have appeared on blogs including Unconventional Wedding, Loved Bride, Rock My Wedding, Whimsical Weddings and Magpie Weddings.

Emily has been recognised as one of Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday winners, was a 2024 Kent Women in Business Awards runner-up and a 2024 Canterbury Business Awards Start Up Business finalist. Heart E Designs also holds a strong 5-star Google rating. Being shortlisted for Spring Fair 2027 has been a particularly significant milestone for the business.

All products are designed in-house, then professionally manufactured and shipped free to UK addresses. Where possible, Heart E Designs uses water-based inks and sustainable resources in its printing and packaging.

What a resounding success our wedding stationery had! It fitted our venue's theme perfectly and was colourful enough to complete the wonderful setting of the space.

But what bowled us over was the quality of the customer support. Unlike a VistaPrint type of site, Emily takes care of adding all the text to the different parts of stationary and then gets it printed (if you want) once the proofs have been accepted by the customer. What a service!

Also, as a huge bonus: the overall prices are very competitive!

We had decided on an Art Deco wedding and approached Emily from Heart E Designs for help us create the right vibe. She was absolutely amazing and honed our vague ideas into something wonderful. She was always responsive and was endlessly patient with our constant requests for slight changes and tweaks. It was so much easier and less stressful to be dealing with a person who could advise, rather than trying to do some DIY website or faceless huge company, and her prices were very reasonable. Also Emily is able to create all the additional signage, place cards etc and can use the invitation design on the extra printing, so everything feels cohesive.
