The Upper Gatehouse is the ideal venue for your civil ceremony, with room for over 110 of your friends and family to join in your special service.

Alternatively you may choose to have your ceremony outside in our beautiful and exclusive Private Garden, under the flower draped Loggia with a church tower in the background.

Afterwards, the ancient formal gardens are just a stroll away, across the medieval Courtyard. They provide the perfect location for photographs, preserving your memories forever against the beautiful backdrop of Dartington Hall .

The unique Grade 1 listed hammer-beamed Great Hall is a spectacular place to hold your celebratory wedding breakfast, seating up to 150 guests in elegance and style.

We had the most amazing wedding reception/ evening at Dartington Hall! Everything went smoothly, thanks to the help of our wedding planner Rebecca and all the staff. All of our guests loved the hall and the grounds and have even said they would be coming back to visit.

The food was delicious, and exactly like the tasting menu if not better, the size of the portions are big enough for even the larger of appetites. The great hall, private gardens, and bedrooms are all to a very high standard, perfect for any wedding! The bridal suite is particularly romantic!
We would definitely recommend Dartington Hall to any Bride and Groom out there looking for a romantic and traditional wedding. We hope to enjoy it as much as we did.
