We have had the best day for our wedding at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The value for money you get at this venue is fantastic for the quality they provide. We had a dedicated wedding planner we could email anytime and found a package that met all our needs in practically one payment rather than having arrange everything through other parties which made planning much easier. The location is close to Nottingham on a main road but surrounded by woodland you would think you were in the country. The food was excellent and the options available are good for any foodie. The decorator included in the package does a superb job and knows this venue well. The whole day is looked after a master of ceremony who kept everything moving well. If you want a dream venue but don't want be paying a fortune this is the place for you met our expectations and exceeded them.

We wanted our whole ceremony and reception in one place. It has great style, and the best staff We got married at an earlier time of 12:30 (we couldn't get a registrar for 2pm), and the hotel accommodated around it. It never felt like we were waiting around at all We had the ceremony, had arrival drinks in the topaz bar, and we all went outside for photos. Then we sat down to dinner! I had a hiccup my side as I missed two of our great friends off the list. I spoke to our wedding planner Stefanie who was in reception at the time, and the issue was resolved straight away, and non of the other guests knew there was even an issue. It was all dealt with so smoothly Dinner was gorgeous! We had vegetable soup, chicken wrapped in bacon with roast potatoes and vegetables, and profiteroles for dessert. We finished off dinner with coffee, tea and mints, then speeches last. We then left the room for the room turn around ready for the reception. The room lights all glowed purple when the evening guests arrived. It all looked amazing We had Lush Occasions do our decor and the room just looked lovely! We had love lights next to the DJ. Nothing ever felt too much to ask of the hotel. Our sweet jars were filled and my fererro roche stand was kept full with what we supplied. With our package, we stayed the night too. It was perfect! The hotel had arranged a box of chocs and a balloon that were placed on our bed. The breakfast in the morning had so much variety. All of our items we had taken to the hotel were stored safely away for us to take home the next day.

We had our big day at the double tree by Hilton all I can say is amazing!! Everything went to plan, Louise who did our decorations she was lovely and very helpful. Stephanie who I could ring or tx would reply pretty much right away, she was lovely to n very helpful. I would definitely recommend to any1 getting married at the double tree. u surly will be happy with every thing they do. So another massive thankyou to all your team, u all did such an amazing job to making our big day so special. Thanks again love donna and Anthony xx

I had my wedding on 19/08/17 and I couldn't I'd been more happy with DoubleTree! Stephanie (the wedding planner) made sure everything was perfect in the run up, nothing was too much to ask of her! Couldn't of asked for a better wedding planner! And then Paul helped run everything on our day, he was brilliant! Everything ran to the right time. The meals was really tasty & the buffet was like an indoor bbq! Everything from the minute we walked in was perfect, our room was the nicest room I have ever stayed in & we even went up to petals on our bed, a bottle of champagne & chocolates on our wedding night with a beautiful card so that was a lovely surprise to the end of our night. I am so grateful to Stephanie, Paul and all the staff at Double Tree Nottingham for making our wedding day perfect!

Me and My husband had our fairy tale wedding. I have such a love for Disney and we definitely got the day of our dreams with our beauty and the beast themed wedding, this wouldn't have been possible without the help of Stef, she added so much detail to our wedding and she made things seem easy when it was getting quite stressful. we wouldn't have changed our venue for anything, we just wish we could replay the whole day. it was perfect!!

We had our wedding here on Saturday 29th July 2017. What an amazing day from start to finish. Stefanie was fantastic she helped us prepare every detail also many thanks to Louise from lush occasions who did a fantastic job with our room set up. On the day of the wedding all the staff was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you so much for helping make our day run smoothly and perfect in every way. Thanks again. We had our wedding here on 28.07.17 and what more can I say.... from start to finish everything was perfect. We originally had a different wedding planner but she left so we were introduced to Stefanie who was a star. She regularly contacted me and stayed in contact especially closer to the day and made sure everything ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. We went for the top package which was just incredible as most things were there for us meaning it took the worry out of it. The venue itself is beautiful inside and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. On the day Magdalena was the manager and she was fantastic. She made sure that the timings were all stuck to and ensured it all ran smoothly. Stefanie was also there on the day :). Food was excellent and the servers were very friendly and just couldn't fault anything. Would highly recommend getting married here the staff are incredible.

We were absolutely blown away by every little detail the team put into our special day, honestly there was nothing they couldn't do. A HUGE Thank you to Stefanie (wedding coordinator), Master of ceremonies, Waiters, Waitresses, Chef, Housekeeping, Bar and Hotel staff, you were all amazing and a crucial part to our day...from beginning to end...we couldn't believe how much you all did for us, Thank you for all the lovely attention to detail throughout. x If you are thinking of booking your wedding at this absolutely gorgeous & modern hotel, you will not be disappointed. You are in capable hands, there is nothing too great or small they wont do..all you have to do is ask and they will give 100% all the way. Wish we could relive our day over and over again! Xx

On the 8th July 2017 our wedding took place at the double tree. We don't have on negative thing to say. The day was absolutely perfect, everything we wanted and more and the main reason for this was down to the staff at the double tree. Everyone made us feel special and all our guest commented on the beautiful venue, the way the day just smoothly flowed and the attention given to us and our guests from the staff. Magda was phenomenal, me and my husband couldn't of asked for better when it came to her just perfecting everything we had imagined in our minds. She was so caring and warm to us and our guests. Nicola also gave us the confidence in the venue on our evening turn around, everything she did made all our dreams into a reality. Stefanie helped us throughout all of our journey with our plans, we felt as though we were her only bride and groom and her attention to us made the experience 100x better than we even believed it would be. The food was out of this world, from the wedding breakfast to our breakfast buffet everything is presented to the highest of standards. Many of our guests booked rooms for the wedding night and they are truly beautiful and clean. Nothing can be criticised as a hotel either, everything is truly beautiful and makes a magical experience. All our guests still continue to comment our how beautiful our day was and how stunning the venue turned out to be. The double tree have everything right and I would recommend them over and over to anyone who is thinking of getting married. Our day was perfect and that was down to all the staff at the double tree.

Everything from the initial booking, planning organisation and the day itself ran like clockwork with the staff at the hotel and wedding planning department. They were all so kind and friendly and could not do enough for you whatever the request they tried to make it happen. The day itself ran like clockwork from the minute I got up (groom) from my stay the night before to the minute the disco ended at 1.00am Sunday morning. We had quite a large wedding (100+ day time and 170 night time) and they were all astounded at how good it all was. There was never a big queue for drinks all the food was served fresh and warm and the lady directing the day kept everything on time and on track. The ceremony room and reception rooms were decorated immaculately the DJ played all the music we asked for. We could not have asked for a better wedding package or for it to have run any smooth if we had tried. Truly great place to get married!

The Double tree by Hilton ... what a fantastic venue for our wedding. From the start everything was perfect, big thanks to Stef, Katie and Nicola for superb organisation also a big thank you to Louise at lush for the settings which were perfect. The food was wonderful and plentiful , The evening resident DJ got the music spot on for our age group 50 + our guests didn't want to stop dancing it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend the venue and lush for anyone having a wedding. All the staff at the hotel were 100% both on the day and the following day and the customer service in the breakfast room was superb helping my daughter with the children and helping with a breakfast that needed taking upstairs. We got married on 28th may 2017 at the doubletree Hilton and our day was fantastic! We couldn't thank the staff enough for all of their hard work! Everyone commented on the food, the decor, the venue, how smoothly everything ran and even their rooms! Our master of ceremonies Nicola was fantastic. She was always helping us gather people up and getting everyone ready for the next event! We would like to thank the doubletree Hilton for all of their efforts! We chose the masquerade package which included a cake from Luke Evans Bakery and our decorations from Lush Occasions. I must also thank these as the cake was even better than I expected and stayed so fresh and our decorations from Louise made the room look beautiful! Thank you all again! Mr & Mrs Bowers-Smith

We booked the Emmie Grey package in the Terrace Suite, worked great as the bar was separate, helpful if guests wanted to move away from the noise. The package included bedrooms - all gorgeous and very clean, included a delicious breakfast. One room was an accessible room which was specious and large enough for an electric wheelchair. The access around the hotel for the wheelchair was good. We originally dealt with Katy who answered my many emails and questions, and then with Stef who again put up with all my questions, email responses were quick. The staff are all polite and helpful. I dressed the room and tables myself, the gentleman on duty on the morning was very helpful. All staff on duty that morning were all helpful and friendly (and the comments about my room décor were lovely). My chair covers, table runners and table sash were supplied by the lovely Jo from Iced & Spliced (highly recommended) The LOVE letters (from Living the Cream) looked amazing behind the top table and shows the room off too its full glory with the chandeliers. The air conditioned rooms are great. Paul our master of ceremonies made the day go smoothly, always telling us what was going on. The lady on the bar was again helpful and polite, the kitchen staff – the food was great, the lemon tart is a must. The kids loved the sausage and mash. The function rooms were amazing, fresh décor, great lighting, clean and a feature this hotel can be proud of, so go book your wedding now – you will not regret it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any other brides. Our Photographer was Welham Photography - Jason is great and makes you very relaxed and importantly takes amazing photos!

I am so glad I chose The DoubleTree By Hilton as my wedding venue for 6th May 2017. It is beautiful inside with gorgeous rooms which make you not want to leave! The package included 5 guest rooms which were shared out for our families and the honeymoon suite was just perfect. Our wedding coordinator was brilliant, she really made you feel as if you were her only client and always seemed so cool and calm! She was at the end of the phone or in reception whenever I needed her (unfortunately for her I lived close by so popped in way too often ha!) The master of ceremonies made the day go very smoothly and asked us throughout the day if we were happy or needed anything. The hospitality staff were lovely and also made us feel relaxed and like we had nothing to worry about. The chefs listened when we asked for adjustments to the menu (no skin or bone on the chicken) and it was no problem at all, they just did it and the food was served hot and plentiful. The canapés were a huge hit too and the groom and I needed them after our nerves had calmed down following the ceremony! The day was a huge hit and although a lot was in the package I added lots of little extras which made it even more special. I gave all the contractors Stefs name and I didn't get a call from one person asking where to put what, she dealt with them all for me. I can't thank them all enough, they were fantastic and a credit to The Hilton. I will never forget the most perfect day made by the most perfect team at The DoubleTree. Cheers to them!

We decided on the Double Tree hotel for a few specific reasons:- I am a wheelchair user as is the mother of the groom, and having the ceremony room and reception room on the same level and in the same building is extremely convenient. Another reason is that my husband is from York so having the hotel near the M1 was accessible for most of the guests. We booked the emmie grey package and the hotel were great when it came to being flexible with what we needed. They provided 2 disabled accessible rooms which were excellent. We provided most of our own decorations as it was a movie themed wedding and the hotel were great with us delivering, storing and picking up all of our own items. We changed the wedding breakfast to a buffet and all throughout the day there was ample food which was tasty and they were extremely helpful when it came to specific diet requirements. They provided us with complimentary tea and coffee within the hour they changed the room around for the evening reception. As a couple we couldn't have wanted anything more and will recommend to anyone and everyone that we can. The only criticism I have is it would've been nice to have more photo opportunities other than in front of the hotel or with traffic in the background.
