Reception drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the lake bursting with wildlife including our famous black swans, or on those cold winter days the cosy Reception area with a roaring log fire.
Celebrate the rest of your day with a delicious 3 course meal for up to 100 guests and an evening party for up to 200 guests with a band or disco of your choice.

From the moment we first visited your venue, all the way up to the main event, we experienced the upmost professionalism and graciousness in accommodating our ideas, requests and particularly jubilant family and friends. We had the most amazing day, and all of our guests were awed by the décor and beautiful grounds of the hotel. The food served was also delicious, particularly the hog roast... and might I add, James' idea to put our 'L-O-V-E' light-up letters in the bay window was absolutely perfect, and really created a stunning focal point during the wedding breakfast & evening reception!

From the moment Shane and I walked through Dumbletons doors we were made to feel so welcomed. From start to finish nothing was too big or small, my silly questions were never an issue. Contact between us and the Wedding Organisers was spot on, always there for us. Natasha, Sarah M and Sarah B you were amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for better. Dexter you made our day so amazingly magical and special! The day ran smoothly with no problem, without Dumbleton Hall our day just wouldn’t have been the same! We would like to convey our heartfelt thanks to the excellent staff and service we received at Dumbleton Hall on 21st April.
From our initial 'show around' with James, the general manager, the wedding co-ordinators including Natasha and Sarah, and the first class waiting and reception staff. Everyone involved worked so hard and was so pleasant and helpful to deal with.
We had a magical day at Dumbleton Hall and the overnight stay and breakfast was much enjoyed by a large number of our guests. The setting is obviously spectacular, but the staff added hugely to the day and 'worked their socks off'. We were very impressed to see some of the staff that had worked until very late the previous evening were on duty again to serve breakfast!
Many thanks to all involved, our event was a huge success, much of it due to the excellent attention we received from the staff at Dumbleton Hall.
We are recommending it wholeheartedly to all our friends.

My husband and I just wanted to send a message to thank all involved in our wedding day through the lead up to and on the day itself. Dumbleton was just perfect in every way from the venue, the food, through to the staff and the way we were treated.
You are all fabulous!
We were only a small group to start in the daytime and it wasn't the most traditional affair but you made it still feel like a grand occasion whilst still being relaxed and welcoming.
Things 'just happened' which meant we could enjoy the day and we really really did! You really are professionals!
We hope none of our guests caused you too much bother. Everyone we have spoken to since have said they had a great time so thank you again for that.
We are in Exmoor now with our family of dogs for a honeymoon full of beach walks and log fires.

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to the hard work both you and everyone at Dumbleton put in. Everyone has said how fantastic all the staff and venue were, even family members who love to moan could not fault it. Everything just seemed to sort of happen which shows how much work must be going on behind the scenes. What a perfect day, please thank the entire team!
My best man, in his haste, may have left a large red ring box somewhere. If it has been handed in please could you let me know so I can arrange for it to be picked up if possible. Not essential but it would be nice to have it.

We had our day on 14th September, and we cannot recommend Dumbleton enough! The beautiful scenery goes without saying, the grounds are spectacular! The wedding team were outstanding, Sarah M & Sarah B were a massive help throughout the planning stage and James was our Master of Ceremonies on the day and all of our guests loved him. We are so thankful that we chose Dumbleton, all of the staff were amazing on the day and the food was incredible.
