The Rufus Centre is located in the beautiful Central Bedfordshire countryside and is owned by Flitwick Town Council. We have operated as a successful conference, meeting and function venue for over ten years.

The magic of the Grim’s Dyke can be seen throughout the year. In Spring you’ll be treated to the stunning blossom trees that frame the croquet lawn. Should you decide on a Summer wedding, your guests will be served drinks and canapés on the terrace which is adorned by an archway of beautiful wisteria. During Autumn the house and grounds emit a rustic warm glow as the vibrant colours of summer are replaced with orange hues. Winter brings its own stunning images and with the grounds covered in a blanket of snow, your guests can be greeted with a warming mulled wine and dine in candlelight. Somerley is a privately owned Stately Home located on the Hampshire/Dorset border. Our ethos is to create a truly bespoke experience for all our couples from start to finish. The House can comfortably seat 140 guests during the day and up to 200 guests in the evening. For larger occasions, the House Gardens or grounds can be hired for up to 300 guests, under a marquee. For those wishing to stay overnight, there are a total of 9 beautifully appointed bedrooms, accommodating up to 18 adults and 8 children, with spectacular views of the surrounding gardens, woodland and rolling parkland.
