The Museum of the Order of St John is a hidden jewel in the City of London, where evocative rooms dating from the twelfth and sixteenth centuries combine with sleek modern spaces to produce an extraordinarily special events venue. The Museum of the Order of St John is licensed for marriages to take place in the Chapter Hall and Council Chamber. Built in 1504 and with interiors designed by John Oldrid Scott, both spaces are breathtaking. They are decorated with paintings dating from the sixteenth to the twentieth centuries, exquisite stained glass and antique furniture. We also have spaces perfect for meals or drink receptions afterwards - so we can create a unique package for you, to fit with your requirements and to help give you the perfect day! Hire the venue for your special day Our 12 outstanding award-winning cottages are set on Brickhouse Farm among acres of stunning countryside. The cottages vary in size, from 2 to 5 bedrooms, and were purpose-built in 2013 to provide holiday accommodation for families, friends and carers. We are in the most tranquil surroundings of Hambleton yet only a step away from the bright lights of Blackpool!

An inclusive town-centre church, offering religious weddings. These are available to couples of all faiths, mixed faiths, or no faith. LGBT+ couples are warmly welcomed. The main hall is large and quite traditional, with a high arched ceiling and a balcony level. The seating is non-fixed, and a red carpet is laid down along the aisle. The main hall is wheelchair-friendly and disabled toilets are available on the ground floor. Other rooms are also available: a kitchen, a coffee lounge seating up to 24, and an Upper Hall with kitchenette and stage, seating up to 100. Please note that the Upper Hall is not wheelchair-accessible. Receptions can be held in the building if it is self-catered or if a third-party caterer is used.
