For over 60 years the London Irish Centre has hosted weddings of every style and scale. Not only can we cater for any size reception for up to 450 guests, but as a licensed civil ceremony venue, your whole day can be right here under one roof, at Camden’s London Irish Centre. ​Come along and view Sledmere’s four wedding venues: The Sykes Barn, The Courtyard Room, Sledmere House and The Marquee Lawn, featuring the Celeste Marquee. One of our wedding team will greet you at the Sykes Barn where you will receive a free, re-useable cotton goody bag containing handmade favours made by our in-house chef, supplier information and two free adult tickets to return on a separate day. From here enjoy a tractor and trailer ride to Sledmere House or, enjoy a stroll through the grounds taking in the breath taking scenery along the way. Florida marquees will have their magnificent Celeste Marquee on display on our stunning Marquee Lawn. Once inside the Marquee, you will find all the suppliers you need to give your wedding day that extra special touch. No wedding fair would be complete without our very own Sledmere shires riding through the grounds in their beautiful wedding carriage. As an extra special treat, if you book your wedding with us before the 17th March 2023, you will receive 10% off the venue hire! There is no need to register, simply turn up anytime from 11.00 am - 3.00 pm on the Saturday or the Sunday. A beautiful, modern venue built in May 2015 and benefiting from excellent technical and practical facilities. Nestled in the grounds of St John the Evangelist's Church, close to major routes, mainline stations and the M23 for excellent access. Yet still with a lovely feel of being in a village environment.
