As soon as we stepped into Longton Wood we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Not only is it just. so. beautiful, but it’s also in an absolutely perfect location and gives so much opportunity for freedom to create a truly unique day exactly the way you want it. We started excitedly planning the moment we drove away down the track from our first viewing!
It doesn’t feel fair to call Longton Wood a blank canvas venue when the woodland gives such a stunning surround to whatever you want to bring in. We loved that we could build an event there that was truly unique to us but that Longton also provides the bits that tend to be a bit trickier and not very exciting to pick! - bathrooms, lighting generator etc.
We really appreciated how fantastic Jennifer, the owner, was to work with. Her ethos seems to match her venue perfectly, she truly gave us the space and freedom to make the weekend as we wanted it - whilst also being incredibly helpful (and calm!) whenever we had questions/worries.
Our guests all had a fantastic time - people are still talking about how great our venue was, months later! We couldn’t have loved the whole day more! At Longton we were able to have exactly the day and evening we hoped for, from the moment we walked down the aisle to the small hours of the morning sitting around the firepit. It went far too fast but we wouldn’t change a thing.
We can’t imagine our wedding having been anywhere else. Thank you Longton!
