The Villa Wrea Green is an award-winning hotel and wedding venue in the beautiful Lancashire countryside. Situated in between the hustle and bustle of the cultural towns of Preston and Blackpool, just off the M55, it is in an ideal location for a wedding. Recognised for its marvellous history, stunning buildings and 2 AA Rosetted restaurant, it holds a special place in the hearts of all our guests. Our lovingly restored 19th century gentlemen's residence has made a reputation that befits its 4* accreditation. From the moment you descend the spiralling driveway, that is surrounded by natural beauty, you will fall in love with The Villa. Take a look inside and you will be blown away by our high, oak beamed ceilings, glistening chandeliers and grand fireplace. This historic yet contemporary establishment means that each wedding at The Villa is special, memorable and unlike any other.
Our fantastic function facilities mean your wedding can have as little as two guests or as many as 300! The Hall, which is often used for a ceremony can allow for up to 150 guests and our marquee style room, perfect for your reception, can hold up to 300 guests. The Villa are also licensed for outdoor weddings! Between April and September you can wed in the Octagon, a purpose- built chapel in our stunning walled garden. We also have several outdoor areas which provide the perfect place for arrival drinks and canapés.
You do not have to worry about entertaining children on your wedding day here at The Villa, we have a child's play area and ample space for lawn activities. These small yet important extras mean your wedding day will certainly be one to remember, for both you and your guests!
After a full day of celebrating, retiring to one of our 31 luxurious rooms you can expect your night will be as special as your day. All rooms have superior en-suite facilities and all brides and grooms will receive a complimentary stay on the night of their wedding.
