Grittleton House, is an exclusive, privately owned country house wedding venue, set within 35 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, with a choice of stunning rooms to accommodate all wedding parties. Situated within the Cotswolds, in the picturesque village of Grittleton, just a short distance from Bath and Bristol, and fabulous transport links to London and beyond. Accessed via a private tree lined drive, it offers sweeping views over the grounds and house. The house itself is full of outstanding architecture and gothic features, with high decorative ceilings, beautiful working fireplaces and an elegance worthy of any Stately Home. The magnificence of the sweeping double stair case is a wonderful sight as you enter the main hall. Choose from the richness and warmth of the central hall, with its stunning arched ceiling and balconies, or the light and airy tones of the yellow gallery. For something larger there is always the Victorian Orangery with stunning views of the terrace and formal gardens. In the glorious summer months enjoy an alfresco ceremony in the Sunken Italian Garden or the spectacular grounds.

Welcome to The Drewton Estate’s unique and exclusive countryside wedding and events venue, The Manor Rooms, where we endeavour to make your dreams come true and promise to make your special day a magical and memorable occasion. From your initial enquiry through to the ‘big day’, you can rest assured that we will deliver a personal service, with creative expertise. The Manor Rooms is a brand new venue which has been sympathetically built with a rustic yet luxurious feel, with features including beautiful bespoke upholstered chairs, fabulous chandeliers with the wow-factor, exposed stone walls, wooden floor with underfloor heating, a fully-stocked feature bar and, of course, bi-fold windows with stunning and picturesque views across the fields on The Drewton Estate, which is located on the edge of the famous Yorkshire Wolds. The Manor Rooms comfortably accommodates up to 150 seated guests, for a wedding breakfast, and up to 225 guests in total for the evening reception, depending on your choice of room layout and furniture. The Library is located on a mezzanine, overlooking the main function room, and will provide the privacy required for an intimate Civil Ceremony. Complete with oak staircase, glass balustrade and chandeliers, it is also a great space for a reception area. We will be fully licensed for both weddings and civil partnerships, both inside and outside the venue. The Library can accommodate a ceremony for up to 60 guests; The Garden Room is a smaller room and can seat up to 24 guests; or The Manor Rooms will accommodate up to 225 guests with the option for a ‘sapphire wedding’ where guests are seated on The Terrace. We have a full music licence for your chosen entertainment, a superb sound system, a hearing loop, free wi-fi and amazing lighting with chandeliers and personalised LED highlights to boot! Even our ladies’ powder rooms and the ‘little boys room’ have special features with an element of fun in the décor and your choice of essential oils for the diffusers. With spectacular views across the rolling hills of the East Yorkshire Wolds, The Terrace really is the perfect backdrop for beautiful photographs or for reception drinks and canapés. It can also be used for outdoor ceremonies when the weather permits. A few steps down, and you will come across our garden Boma with outdoor seating and fire pit. A nod to the Taylor family’s love of Africa, it is the perfect place to sit under the stars on balmy summer evenings. We pride ourselves on our exceptional food and service, with creative, seasonal and delicious menus. We are therefore delighted to offer fabulous wedding menus, based around the seasons and using the very best local produce. The Drewton Estate’s multi award-winning Farm Shop, Drewton’s, is proud to work with over 250 Yorkshire producers, farmers, growers and suppliers and our chefs’ wish is to indulge you and your guests with quality tasty dishes, all the while supporting these artisan businesses. The Church Northampton is a Wedding Venue located in the town center of Northampton, Northamptonshire. This one-of-a-kind venue in England, has more than eight centuries of history behind it and is brimming with character. With its elegant architecture, this venue easily enhances a couple's wedding, making it unforgettable. The Church started life as St John's Hospital which opened in1138 as a Hospice and has seen many transformations over its 869 years. From Soldiers Burial Grounds, being part of Northampton's First Railway Station and being Re-Consecrated as a Catholic Church before becoming the unique venue it is today. St John's is the oldest secular building left in Northampton. Facilities and Capacity The Church offers a unique and beautiful venue with exclusive use for your Wedding Celebrations and Civil Ceremonies. Couples can enjoy private use of our Chapel Bar, The Main Hall and The Mezzanine Area for thier special day. Wedding Receptions of up to 120 Guests take place in The Main Hall and whether it be traditional or something a little more bespoke, our talented team of chefs create menus that will delight all your friends and family. With our Three-Course Wedding Breakfast Menu, our unique Buffet and Canape Options you will have plenty to choose from. Evening Dining is suited to getherings of up to 250 Guests. Our Wedding Venue has facilities for a Live Band or DJ making it simple to organise Event Entertainment.
