For the wedding couple we also have two luxurious Bridal Suites available. Championship Golf We have 2 championship 18 hole golf courses, voted No1 Golf resort in the North of England that have hosted 13 PGA’s. As an in house guest here, you and your guests can benefit from 50% off tee times, pre booked in advance. If you haven’t played for a while, not to worry! Spa and leisure Our leisure area hosts a large swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for you and your wedding guests to enjoy if staying at the resort. We have 9 Spa treatment rooms too with ESPA products and a range of treatments from a full body massage to a manicure in our own nail bar area. If you feel like you may want to be more active, we have a state of the art equipped gym too. Whisky Snug Our Whisky Snug is a perfect area for you and your guests to relax in, at any time. If you wanted a private meal prior to your wedding day with close friends and family, we can arrange this too. The room has a working fireplace and a Whisky wall filled with over 100 rare brands. We can arrange Whisky tastings for your group too if booked in advance. Ornamental Gardens Our 2 acre ornamental gardens are situated just by our front lawn. It is the perfect place for you wedding photography or we can even host an intimate ceremony there for you and your guests, for up to 30 people. Tranquil, serene and calm where you can hear the streams run by, you’ll be fully relaxed here whether a guest or the bride and groom. Walking We have 5 designated walking paths around the 1000 acre estate with a large map that can be seen on the first tee, by the Hunting course. We have much wildlife around Slaley Hall including 12 pairs of deer, red squirrels and many rare birds. Additional to this to the left of the front lawn we have the ornamental gardens that covers 2 acres. Here you can see rare Japanese trees, a small pond and relaxing area for you to enjoy. Activities In partnership with All Out Adventures we have a range of activities onsite. We have our own dedicated 4x4 off road driving track, segway path and Quad biking trail alongside activities for the less adventurous too; clay pigeon shooting, archery, orienteering to name but a few. Victoria Hall is a truly unique and beautiful wedding venue set in the the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire, a truly special wedding venue, which can be tailored to provide your perfect wedding. We've five wonderful rooms to choose from each with their own character, views and breath-taking architecture. We get a little misty-eyes about weddings, and we know this stage can be a lot of fun as you dream and plan your wedding day. We also know it can sometimes be a little full-on, as you figure out what you need to be aware of and how best to create the day you’ll adore (and how best to keep those relatives happy too!) We’ll make the planning as easy as possible for you, and do everything we can to make your wedding ‘wow’.

The magic of the Grim’s Dyke can be seen throughout the year. In Spring you’ll be treated to the stunning blossom trees that frame the croquet lawn. Should you decide on a Summer wedding, your guests will be served drinks and canapés on the terrace which is adorned by an archway of beautiful wisteria. During Autumn the house and grounds emit a rustic warm glow as the vibrant colours of summer are replaced with orange hues. Winter brings its own stunning images and with the grounds covered in a blanket of snow, your guests can be greeted with a warming mulled wine and dine in candlelight.
