Originally the Village School built in 1891, it has had an extensive upgrade recently exposing the original beamed roof. Ideal for the smaller wedding, there is enough room in the hall to seat 80 at tables. There is also a stage for groups, disco etc. Available with the booking, for an additional charge, is a marquee. With hire charges starting at £50 for a half day, and the marquee £50 per day, it is also great value!

The City Rooms is a Georgian, Grade 1 listed wedding venue and banqueting hall with boutique bedrooms in the heart of Leicester city centre. The ballroom, with its magnificent windows and grand chandeliers, is a stunning setting for any wedding and is sure to take your breath away. It spans the whole length of the first floor and is 9 meters in height which gives the room a sense of space and grandeur. It can seat up to 200 guests and is often used for the ceremony as well as the wedding breakfast and evening reception. As well as the ballroom we also have a beautifully decorated bar and two other suites, the dining room and the drawing room, which are perfect for more intimate celebrations.
