With its Spanish and Mediterranean themed architecture, this hotel offers excellent value and comfort, as well as first class facilities. The hotel has its own courtyard with beautifully landscaped gardens and fountains, which is the perfect place to relax. The hotel’s Rafters Lounge Bar, which leads out onto the courtyard, is also a cosy place to drink in traditional surroundings. The Mediterranean Restaurant, on the other hand, offers a fantastic menu and caters for all cuisines. It is very spacious and overlooks the bright and airy reception area from a mezzanine floor.

Situated close to Beeley Moor on the edge of the Peak District National Park is the village of Holymoorside. The village hall is located in the centre of the village and has lovely open views to the rear overlooking the recreation ground and rolling Derbyshire hills beyond. The hall has 3 function rooms, ample parking and can accommodate up to 120 seated guests. The hall is licensed for music and regulated entertainment.

A family friendly Private Members Club boasting spectacular views over the Tamar Valley and across the Moors. The Club (formerly the Working Men’s Club) has a newly revamped Member's bar with a great selection of beers and lagers, bottled beverages as well as a variety of spirits and wines. Our prices are amongst the cheapest in Saltash! Members can enjoy snooker in our specially equipped Snooker room which boasts 3 full size tables. There is also a pool table in the Members bar as well as 3 dart boards. For live sports enthusiasts there are 3 televisions all linked to Sky Sports and BT Sports. However, the icing on the cake in this club is our impressive Main Hall. The wooden interior mimics that of an upturned boat, with a stage, dance floor and large windows which overlook the panoramic river views. The Club hosts several events for Members which includes regular Bingo, a Quiz Night and Live Music events. The Main Hall is also available for private hire and would be suitable for parties, wedding receptions, concerts, conferences, training sessions and community events. Relaxed, rustic and stylish, Hanbury Wedding Barn is set in the heart of the National Forest. These bright and beautiful barns have been lovingly restored especially with wedding celebrations in mind and we opened our doors for the first time in June 2019. The venue is family run and features an elegant red brick ceremony barn with exposed timber frames, an outdoor ceremony pavilion overlooking the lake, a spacious courtyard and evening room, and a welcoming wedding breakfast barn. It is the perfect place to begin married life with your family and friends.

​Come along and view Sledmere’s four wedding venues: The Sykes Barn, The Courtyard Room, Sledmere House and The Marquee Lawn, featuring the Celeste Marquee. One of our wedding team will greet you at the Sykes Barn where you will receive a free, re-useable cotton goody bag containing handmade favours made by our in-house chef, supplier information and two free adult tickets to return on a separate day. From here enjoy a tractor and trailer ride to Sledmere House or, enjoy a stroll through the grounds taking in the breath taking scenery along the way. Florida marquees will have their magnificent Celeste Marquee on display on our stunning Marquee Lawn. Once inside the Marquee, you will find all the suppliers you need to give your wedding day that extra special touch. No wedding fair would be complete without our very own Sledmere shires riding through the grounds in their beautiful wedding carriage. As an extra special treat, if you book your wedding with us before the 17th March 2023, you will receive 10% off the venue hire! There is no need to register, simply turn up anytime from 11.00 am - 3.00 pm on the Saturday or the Sunday.
