A 36-bedroom, 17th century Manor House hotel set in six acres of stunning grounds overlooking the Stroud Water Canal and rolling hills of the Stroud Valley. All of our reception rooms and our delightful waterside gazebo are licensed for civil ceremonies. So whether you are looking for an alfresco summer ceremony on the lawn or an intimate winter ceremony in our warming oak-paneled room, Prested has something for all. During the summer months, couples also have the option to dine in our traditional marquee with picture-perfect views out across the manicured lawns, moat, and the stunning parkland beyond, creating the perfect backdrop to any wedding breakfast.

The Kent Wedding Centre is a unique concept where we have permanent exhibition space for independent wedding businesses in a beautifully restored Oast House. A relaxed and enjoyable showroom where you are not bombarded with suppliers forcing leaflets in your hands instead you will be greeted by our receptionist and free to wander the room to view our first class cakes, flowers, chair covers, decorations, photographers, suits and wedding dresses.
