The Angel Hotel is proud to be able to offer you an affordable solution for your Wedding Reception. The Oak Room can provide an intimate atmosphere suited to small and medium sized receptions of up to 60 guests seated or 80 people standing.

At Ingrebourne Links Golf & Country Club, we only deal in ‘dream days’! Our purpose-built function suite opened in July 2017 and can accommodate up to 200 guests in a formal ‘wedding breakfast’ set-up. The suite benefits from it’s own bar, dance-floor and private balcony with stunning views across the Essex countryside.

We offer a complete wedding package for only £1000, this includes, Sit down meal for 30 with wine and sparkling wine for toast Room dressed with chair covers and sash Starlight backdrop, top table skirt and cake table skirt Buffet for 80 in the evening Resident DJ

We have a variety of event rooms to hire, Including smaller speacialist boardroom suites and meeting rooms available. With a capacity for up to 350 guests, the venue provides the ideal space for conferences, meetings and private functions.

Newcastle is a 20 minute drive away, with the main A19 road just around the corner from the hotel. There’s plenty of free parking available at our Newcastle hotel, but if you’d rather leave the car behind, you can take the Metro into the city centre – the Northumberland Park Metro stop is a short walk from the hotel. At Village Newcastle, you’re never short of things to do, with a fully equipped gym, pub, spa, and the Pub & Grill Restaurant all under one roof.

Congleton Town Hall is an amazing venue for your wedding or party. The Events Team will work with you to ensure that your special day in this majestic, historic building will be the wedding or party that you want. The Town Hall is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships and is also a beautiful venue for your wedding reception. The Congleton Town Hall Events and Parties team have years of catering experience and will work closely with you on your menu choices and options to ensure that you and your guests are delighted with your food. Menus are bespoke as each wedding couple has different ideas and choices – however we are very happy to send some sample menus and prices for guidance.
