About this Event
Empirical Events are wedding industry specialists and produce engaging events that are relevant to couples looking at the particular venue we are at, but are equally good if you have your venue and are looking for ideas and professional wedding suppliers to support you on your day.
Our aim is to make your wedding planning as simple as possible. All our shows are free entry and include a luxury goodie bag containing wedding magazines, special offers and a selection of pampering goodies.
About the Venue
The Historic Great Barn at Basing House dates back to 1535 and is a vast space with vaulted ceilings and presents a fabulous space for your wedding. The grounds of the Barn and the house present some great photo opportunities, in particular the Jacobean walled garden.
Licensed for Civil ceremonies and receptions your party goes onto 11pm, after which the party can always continue at a number of local venues.

With 50 trusted suppliers from across all areas of your wedding day, you will find ideas and choices that will tailor your day. Whether you are just starting out looking for a venue, or in the final stages of planning your day, you will find suppliers ready to offer help and advice.
Spread across the Great Barn, Old Cow Byre and courtyard spaces the show offers the opportunity to see the space available for weddings and arrange a tour of the wider grounds available for weddings.
Access to the show is from the Main car park and a gentle riverside walk up to the venue, don't worry though as it will be clearly signed on the day.
