The UK Wedding Event experience returns to Delta Hotels by Marriott in York on Sunday 1st September for our second intimate wedding fayres of the year at this popular venue. Over 40 top wedding suppliers will be in attendance to help you plan your special day. We simply cannot wait for this show as the hotel will have completed a fresh and vibrant refit by the time it comes around. All visitors will be greeted by a drinks reception and a free gift bag will be given to the bride. Delta Hotels by York Marriott, as it is now known, is a beautiful setting for both Civil Ceremonies & Wedding Receptions with landscaped gardens overlooking York Racecourse providing a magnificent backdrop for your photographs. Admission is free of the day, but we do encourage brides-to-be to book tickets in advance to assist with our event planning. Have you dreamt of a fairytale Wedding in a Castle to your knight in shining armour? If you have then I suspect our next scheduled wedding fayre at Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire could be the show for you! The venue itself is a magical location where you can bring your friends and relatives together in the stunning setting of a Gothic revival stately home to celebrate your special day. From the picturesque backdrop of the beautiful gardens, to the opulent staircase in the Great Hall, this enchanting castle is a dreamy setting for a couple to tie the knot. Keep it simple with an intimate gathering or take advantage of the grounds and facilities for a larger wedding. As ever we will have the best wedding suppliers around in attendance to help you plan your big day whether it is at the Castle itself or somewhere else. The UK Wedding Event returns to York Racecourse for the second time in 2024 on Sunday 20th October for North Yorkshire's biggest and most popular wedding show. The venue is a fabulous location, with ample free parking and the ability to house more than a 100 top class exhibitors to help you plan your special day. All visitors are greeted by a champagne reception and receive free tote gift bags to collect information from the exhibitors throughout the day. Over 100 wedding suppliers will be in attendance on the day and guests will also be treated to two sensational catwalk shows. Hotel du Vin York is a beautiful Grade II listed building that dates back to the early 19th century, located in The Mount, a tranquil area close to the city centre. Formerly a private home and an orphanage, the hotel houses forty four stylish bedrooms and suites, a trademark bistro, bar and private dining rooms, along with an outdoor terrace and open top courtyard. On Sunday 17th November, this wonderful venue will be throwing open their doors from 11am to the public for a wedding fayre not to be missed, organised by the award winning UK Wedding Event team, featuring over 25 top wedding suppliers. All engaged couples will be greeted with a sparkling reception as well as receiving a free gift bag and a sample of leading wedding magazine upon arrival.

The Parsonage Hotel & Spa, situated on the outskirts of York, is one of North Yorkshire's most popular wedding venues and it isn't hard to see why. Set in three acres of beautiful gardens and enchanting woodland, engaged couples won't have to look much further for a perfect romantic backdrop for their special day. Come sample it all for yourselves at our Christmas themed wedding fayre here on Sunday 1st December 2023, when we will once again be joined by some of the area's finest wedding suppliers. Over 400 visitors came through the door for our last winter show at The Parsonage for an event that attracted in excess of 35 top exhibitors. The Parsonage boasts a licence to hold Civil Wedding and Partnership Ceremonies for up to 100 guests as well as offering a function room large enough to cater for up to 200 in the evening. The Grand, York is a stunning hotel wedding venue in the heart of city set against the backdrop of Edwardian architecture and impressive original features.
