The Church started life as St John's Hospital which opened in1138 as a Hospice and has seen many transformations over its 869 years. St John's is the oldest secular building left in Northampton. Our large stained glass windows in The Chapel Bar are the perfect backdrop for your photos and a great talking point for your guests. Ceremonies take place in The Main Hall and can seat upto 80 Guests. Vows can be exchanged at the Alter of what was formally St John's Church. Wedding Receptions of up to 120 Guests take place in The Main Hall and whether it be traditional or something a little more bespoke, our talented team of chefs create menus that will delight all your friends and family. With our Three-Course Wedding Breakfast Menu, our unique Buffet and Canape Options you will have plenty to choose from. Evening Dining is suited to getherings of up to 250 Guests. Our Wedding Venue has facilities for a Live Band or DJ making it simple to organise Event Entertainment. We are inviting lots of our lovely suppliers to showcase their talents so that bridal parties can have a look at the beautiful things they can offer, picking up inspiration along the way! We are very proud to present some of our favourite cake suppliers, photographers, florists, event dressers and many more exhibitors who have so much to offer you. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore our wonderful venue, with our magnificent Tithe barn, Archers Hall,Tudor Manor House and 16 acres of beautiful grounds open to explore.
