Somerley is a privately owned Stately Home located on the Hampshire/Dorset border. Our ethos is to create a truly bespoke experience for all our couples from start to finish. We want every guest to be 'wowed' by the grandeur of Somerley but leave feeling like they are part of the family. Set in 7,000 acres of glorious Hampshire countryside, Somerley offers the opportunity to suit a variety of wedding styles. Whether couples are looking for stylish luxury in the Main House, to go boho in the Walled Garden or embrace the magic of a woodland wedding in the heart of Somerley Woods - the Somerley Weddings Team can help create the perfect day. Just 25 minutes from Bournemouth, 30 minutes from Southampton and 90 minutes from London; Somerley is never open to the public and is only ever booked on an exclusive basis, so privacy is always guaranteed. The House can comfortably seat 140 guests during the day and up to 200 guests in the evening. For larger occasions, the House Gardens or grounds can be hired for up to 300 guests, under a marquee. Tailored to you Set across two decks, The Lightship offers a versatile space that can be styled to your needs. Whether you prefer the indoors or open air, you'll find a range of ceremony spaces to choose from. With a capacity of up to 75 for your ceremony (which can be increased for your reception), hire the mid-deck inside and out, or add the top deck to reserve the entire ship exclusively for your use.
