Thank you for considering Avoncroft Museum as the venue for your wedding. The Museum offers unique setting for your wedding, civil ceremony and reception. Ceremonies are held in the atmospheric New Guesten Hall beneath its magnificent fourteenth century, Grade II* listed roof. Blessings can be performed in the Mission Church, a Victorian ‘tin chapel’ rescued from Bringsty, Herefordshire, and now rebuilt in the Museum grounds. After your ceremony your guests can enjoy the Museum’s extensive grounds and gardens, spread over 19 acres of English countryside, while the many historic buildings provide interesting and unusual settings for your wedding photographs.

Set in the semi rural village on the outskirts of Coventry we have a 34 bedroom Hotel and Wedding Venue. Licensed for Civil Ceremonies also and a Marquee for up to 200 people we are able to host your special day here at our hotel. Brimming with a relaxing and intimate atmosphere, The Dorothy Clive Garden is a beautiful 12-acre country wedding venue located in Shropshire. Nestled on the borders of Cheshire and Shropshire, this exquisite English garden offers a scenic backdrop all year round for a lavish marquee celebration. Here you can enjoy plenty of photo opportunities to create a plethora of memorable moments for you and your guests. Facilities and Capacity The Dorothy Clive Garden offers a riveting selection of licensed ceremony settings enveloped in natural beauty. The Belvedere Pavilion lies at the top of the garden and provides the most magnificent outdoor location for up to 150 seated guests. Elsewhere, the Bryan Mayer Pavilion is a chic rustic setting ideal for smaller weddings of 70. Afterwards, you are free to embrace a wedding feast and drinks reception in any manner you please. You could return to the Mayer Pavilion for a sweet country dining experience with 40 friends and family. Alternatively, you can hire the generous Paddock Lawn for a marquee or tipi reception with no limit on your guest numbers. Meanwhile, the Lower Tea Lawn is readily available for those embarking on a micro wedding of 15. Here in the heart of the garden, you and your loved ones can share the day in a cosy marquee, affectionately called the Little Hat. The Ladybird Inn was constructed in 1905 in a very different age. At that time, it was both an Inn and a Hotel and was built to serve Bromsgrove Station which had been completed some years earlier together with the extensive railway workshops that were operational at that time (now a housing estate). Aston Fields was originally a standalone village surrounded by open fields but these days it is connected to Bromsgrove with continuous housing all the way along New Road. However, it is still regarded by the residents as “the village” and there is a strong sense of village community. The Ladybird Inn is, and always has been, the focal point of the village. The McConnell Room is named after James Mconnell the first chairman of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers who met at The Ladybird Inn in 1846 to discuss the idea of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
