A magical Grade I Listed moated country manor house in the heart of rural Herefordshire. Quintessentially English, the original 4 houses surround the charming central courtyard, one of the countless locations for an outdoor ceremony. Alternatively, couples can choose one of three formal lawns and any number of locations within 800 acres of wooded Estate to create a truly unique occasion. A Visit England 5-Star Gold exclusive use venue, guests have the run of the house during their stay. Mouth-watering catering can be arranged and for more informal self-catered dining, three well-equipped, homely kitchens are at guests’ disposal. Pre or après wedding days play host to board games and slideshows by warm fires in cosy lounges, perhaps with a sing-song on the piano to make delightful family memories. Wedding couples are spoilt for choice when it comes to romantic locations to choose from to marry; from the stylish Library, lined with floor to ceiling bookcases to the elegance of the Queen Anne Dining Room with views over the Wordsworth Lawn, where the romantic poet walked. And then there’s the grand Banqueting Hall; dating from 1180 with stained glass windows and a vast open fireplace filled fill candles - this room is the grandest in the manor and often where the happy couple will host their wedding meal. Highbury Hall is a truly beautiful setting for a wedding. From the stunning building and country surroundings to the striking interiors and exceptional service, the venue creates the perfect, romantic atmosphere for the most important day of your life. While located only three miles outside of Birmingham’s city centre, Highbury Hall boasts a beautiful countryside setting. The beautiful, grade II manor house was originally built in 1878 as a family home by Birmingham’s parliamentarian Rt. Hon. Joseph Chamberlain MP. Whether you choose to hold your whole day of wedding celebrations here, or just wish to have a grand reception following a ceremony elsewhere, Highbury Hall guarantees a first-class event. The Hall can accommodate up to 100 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast with up to 150 for the following evening reception. We unfortunately don’t offer the option for you to hold just your civil ceremony or partnership at Highbury Hall. Your day at Highbury Hall is made even more special with the personal service of the event co-ordinators. They will be on hand to help you plan your perfect day, tailoring each detail to your specific requirements and needs. On the big day, the team will ensure that everything runs seamlessly. For your wedding breakfast and reception, there is a fantastic selection of menus which can be tailored to suit your personal tastes and budget with the help of our “Menu Master”. We also offer a range of approved outside Afro-Caribbean or Asian caterers.

At the Leopold Hotel, we offer an exclusive, unique and beautiful setting, perfect for Civil Ceremonies and Vow Renewals. Our four intimate occasion suites offer the perfect setting for that all-important red-carpet entrance to the drinks celebrations that ensue. Select from the Oak Suite for 60 guests, the Library Suite for 40 guests, the Bessemer Suite for 20 guests and the Faraday Suite for 14 guests all set in the glorious listed Victorian Grammar School which overlooks the fountains of Leopold Square .
