Riverside Cabins is a relaxed, scenic wedding venue set right by the water, offering a simple but beautiful backdrop for your day. Surrounded by nature, it’s a great option for couples who want something a bit more laid-back and less traditional, without sacrificing atmosphere. The space works well for both smaller gatherings and larger celebrations, with a mix of outdoor areas and cosy cabin-style settings. It’s flexible too, so you can style the day in a way that suits you—whether that’s informal and rustic or a bit more polished. At our wedding fayre, you’ll get a feel for how Riverside Cabins can be used throughout the day, from ceremony to reception, along with ideas for décor, layout, and local suppliers. It’s a venue that keeps things straightforward while still feeling special.
Hedingham Castle is a wedding venue like no other - an iconic Norman Keep just a stone's throw away from an elegant Georgian Country House, and onsite accommodation, all set within 160 acres of romantic countryside. Ceremonies take place in the Banqueting Hall of the Castle, under the grand double height archway and lit with a myriad of candles. Alternatively, you may say your vows outdoors, on the lawns overlooking the lake or on the Tilting Lawn of the Castle. Receptions take place either in the stunning Georgian House and Ballroom Marquee for up to 150 guests, or for more intimate weddings of 70 or less, you can host your whole day in the Castle: dine in the atmospheric Tapestry Room then continue with drinks and dancing on the Garrison Floor above. Whatever you decide, it is sure to be the most magical experience from start to finish.
