Originally built in 1850, Heath Cottage is a fine example of early Victorian architecture. The main Victorian residence and original coaching house have been sympathetically converted and extended whilst enhancing the original character and features. Heath Cottage is an approved venue for civil marriage and partnership ceremonies, with a choice of rooms in which to cater for the smaller, intimate wedding or larger parties, with up to 65 guests. In the evenings we can accommodate up to 100 guests. Since being faithfully restored from The Old Library’s origins as one of Birmingham’s first free libraries in 1866, this historic setting has played host to many happy and unique wedding days.
