Our newly built clubhouse and function centre completed in summer 2016 has a contemporary feel, in a beautiful setting, which really makes it the perfect place to celebrate. At The Old Nene we build our wedding package around each of our bride and groom’s requirements, so not only does this make your day unique, but it allows you to get the most from your budget, to really give that wow factor on your special day. We have 3 function rooms and couples can choose to have any combination of our rooms during their day. And why not make use of our beautiful veranda and private balcony with views over our lake and manicured golf course. Since being faithfully restored from The Old Library’s origins as one of Birmingham’s first free libraries in 1866, this historic setting has played host to many happy and unique wedding days. Wedding guests will be left mesmerised by the architecturally stunning building, which is flooded with natural daylight and exudes a romantic atmosphere. Our unique and historic venue can easily accommodate up to 130 guests for a ceremony and sit-down reception, and there is further space for creating a dancefloor whilst accommodating up to 250 guests for an evening reception. The Old Library is nestled amongst the bustling and diverse community of Digbeth, providing a variety of unique backdrops for those all-important wedding photos. Our dedicated chefs have created a series of delicious menus your guests will devour, and the bar team have created a drinks menu to match. The Library Bar is a large area separated from the main space by three grand arch ways. This hidden gem can easily cater to a particular theme that has been envisaged for a wedding day and our experienced events team are on hand to ensure your wedding day reflects your vision.

The Hare and Hounds Hotel is a wedding venue in Westonbirt, near Tetbury, in Gloucestershire, England. This historic hotel was built in 1854, and it features a magnificent Cotswold stone facade. The Great Barn is a breathtakingly beautiful 15th Century barn venue (with its impressive 45 foot high ceilings) located about 8 miles outside of Exeter on the edge of Dartmoor. It is a beautiful, exclusive-use wedding venue, set in the grounds of a private estate, offering weekend weddings from Friday-Sunday, and occasional midweek weddings if desired. It has a capacity of 250 (plus 70 in the adjoining round house) when standing; a capacity of 168 sitting at round tables, and 198 at long tables. Also available on site is luxurious accommodation for up to 30 guests in a variety of stylishly renovated stone cottages.
