Set in seven acres of magnificent landscaped grounds Madingley Hall, Madingley, nr Cambridge provides an unforgettable setting for your wedding day. Although the Hall was built between 1543 and 1547, the earliest recorded image of the gardens is an engraving dating from 1705, showing a formal, Dutch-style garden to the north and east of the Hall. This garden was replaced by the prevailing trend for naturalistic parkland and in 1756, Lancelot Capability Brown was employed to create a fashionable and yet stunning landscaped gardens complete with water features. Today Madingley Hall still retains many of the original period features, making this a truly striking venue both inside and out.

The Cressing Temple Wedding Show will take place on Sunday 6th June 2021 (11:00am - 3:00pm). Cressing Temple itself is steeped in history dating back to the 1100's when it was given to the Knights Templar and home to three Grade I listed barns as well as Tudor built Walled Gardens. In the 13th Century the Barley and Wheat Barns were constructed, which are described by the historian Michael Haag as being “the two finest Templar-built barns in Europe”. The Granary barn was built some time later in the 16th Century and is the largest granary in Essex.

Our aim is to make your wedding planning as simple as possible. All our shows are free to enter and include a luxury goodie bag containing wedding magazines, special offers and a selection of pampering goodies. As you expect there are some changes to ensure the event is COVID Secure. The key change is that you book your tickets you will need to choose a time to arrive. Tickets are limited in 15 minute intervals so that we get a good flow of couples into the venue. Tottington Manor Hotel is nestled in the heart of the South Downs National Park, 4 miles from the Brighton Coastline in Sussex. It's looks out across the rolling hillsides and is a tranquil and magical place for a wedding. With Bridal Suite and 11 further bedrooms on site it can accommodate you closest friends for accommodation, and just over 90 for your wedding breakfast. The venue is licensed for wedding ceremonies for up to 93 and is renowned for great food and service, your wedding day really couldn't be in better hands. We will be joined by approximately 30 Professional wedding suppliers both inside and outside and precautions have been taken to ensure we are operating in a Covid Secure way.
