The National Museum of the Royal Navy, established in 2009, tells the story of the four fighting forces of the British Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the Fleet Air Arm, the Submarine Service and the Surface Fleet. Ours is the epic story of the Royal Navy, its impact on Britain and the world from its origins in 625 A.D. to the present day. The Museum Group includes the Royal Naval Museum, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, the Royal Navy Submarine Museum with HMS Alliance, Explosion! Our Gardens overlooking the lake is a perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony or our spacious banqueting suites make an ideal setting for your wedding day dinner and reception for up to 300 people Our Elizabeth Suite has its own private foyer area, cloakroom and bar. This suite can accommodate 200 guests for a full sit down meal and 300 for an informal reception. The Lakeside Suite has its own private bar area and doors opening out onto the grounds at the back of the hotel. This room can accommodate 60 guests for a sit down meal and 100 for an informal reception. The Garden room is ideal for smaller and more intimate functions. It can seat 30 guests on round tables and is also ideal for small wedding ceremonies.
