We are able to offer exclusive use of the Victorian house with beautifully manicured side garden for intimate weddings and for larger celebrations we have our beautiful Venetian Garden themed permanent Marquee with stunning manicured garden complete with furniture. Both are registered for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships. However, we do only hold one wedding per day ensuring you are the only couple getting married. Our marquee is one of the largest venues for Civil Ceremonies in the Thames Valley with a capacity of up to 300. Each wedding at Trunkwell is unique and bespoke to your requirements. Should you wish, we will help you transform the marquee to your specification if you do not wish to use our own Venetian Garden theme. For grand weddings of 300 guests to more intimate gatherings of 20, our Mansion House is steeped in traditional beauty inside and out. Self-catered weddings can take place in the modern and spacious Wokefield Suite which is located in Wokefield Place, a separate venue to the Mansion House. Barnham Community Hall is set within 8 acres of parkland with ample parking and a very reasonably priced wedding package, allowing exclusive use of the building from Friday afternoon through to midday on Sunday. Our Gardens overlooking the lake is a perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony or our spacious banqueting suites make an ideal setting for your wedding day dinner and reception for up to 300 people Our Elizabeth Suite has its own private foyer area, cloakroom and bar. This suite can accommodate 200 guests for a full sit down meal and 300 for an informal reception. The Lakeside Suite has its own private bar area and doors opening out onto the grounds at the back of the hotel. This room can accommodate 60 guests for a sit down meal and 100 for an informal reception. The Garden room is ideal for smaller and more intimate functions. It can seat 30 guests on round tables and is also ideal for small wedding ceremonies. Holiday Inn Basildon has several rooms licensed for civil ceremonies including the Pavilion which is located in the grounds over looking views of the lake.
