The Great Barn is a breathtakingly beautiful 15th Century barn venue (with its impressive 45 foot high ceilings) located about 8 miles outside of Exeter on the edge of Dartmoor. It is a beautiful, exclusive-use wedding venue, set in the grounds of a private estate, offering weekend weddings from Friday-Sunday, and occasional midweek weddings if desired. It has a capacity of 250 (plus 70 in the adjoining round house) when standing; a capacity of 168 sitting at round tables, and 198 at long tables. Also available on site is luxurious accommodation for up to 30 guests in a variety of stylishly renovated stone cottages. Brean Country Club is the home of Brean Golf Club and Somerset’s brand new wedding & events venue. With stunning views across our 18 hole golf course towards Brent Knoll and the Mendips offering the perfect setting for your special occasion. Choose from two function suites both with floor to ceiling glass and outside wraparound balconies. We can cater for numbers between 50 - 160 persons.
